The sound of the waves is music to your ears, and the crisp salty air fills your lungs. And at night, our magical Creative-Cables installations roll in to steal the spotlight! The two projects we’re proud to showcase today are: Kiki’s Bar, brought to life by Archilight - a professional lighting design studio - and another one conceived in an upscale resort on the northern coast of Alexandria by interior designer Nedal Badr and 3Brothers, one of the leading companies in the Egyptian illumination field.

A warm, soft lighting for a striking atmosphere that accompanies guests during their meals and drinks. String lights are a go-to outdoor illumination solution for many restaurants, cafés and resorts. If you need proof just check out Kiki’s Bar in Hacienda Bay, a lavish venue located in the northern Egyptian coast.

No walls: just sea
Despite its striking location, this seafront restaurant surely was a challenge for all designers involved because of the total absence of walls and ceilings. Figuring out how to hang lamps over each table and how to protect them from sudden gusts of wind was no easy feat, but we think these innovative Creative-Cables solutions were the perfect choice.
The idea was to find unique suspension lamps that could be moved around to bring light to every table without obstructing the stunning sea view. This was achieved thanks to illumination systems like EIVA, that guarantee full versatility thanks to the IP65 protection degree. Designed to overcome any difficulty with excellent results!
The EIVA fabric cables were set up on a tension wire system to guarantee ultimate stability even on the most blustery days. What makes the EIVA cables so special? They come with double elastomeric rubber lining to help the product withstand any temperature ranging from -25°C to +60°C, along with the fabric lining for a stunning visual impact. The two central pieces of the project are EIVA-3, a T-shaped junction with IP65 protection degree which holds a special isolating gel allowing it to safely endure rain and storms, and EIVA Elegant, the first P65 wired lamp holder in the world designed for outdoor use with E27 fitting and silicone soft touch finish.
